Yate Academy Music Pathway removes the barriers to classical music education which is usually not facilitated in Secondary Schools. The Music Pathway offers our students a programme of excellence, that ensures that those students that display musical promise are identified and have access and opportunity to ensemble and orchestral playing. Students who attend this enrichment programme are able to unlock their hidden potential, which builds confidence and social skills, connecting young people to the world of music and the Arts in the best way possible – we put it in their own hands! We have been able to see students become high-level academic achievers alongside imaginative, critical and creative performers and composers.
