PSHE and Character Eduction curriculum

Throughout their time with us, our young people study a dynamic Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) Education programme.  The course is targeted to the age and stage of the young people and delivered through timetabled lessons once per fortnight for years 7 to 10.  Year 11 have PSHE taught via their assembly programme and through focused 'drop down' afternoons across the year.

The programme includes a breadth of areas of study from sex and relationships education to politics and includes preparation for examinations and quality careers information for each young person.  All elements combine to help students grow and become confident adults and future global citizens. The attachment below outlines the topics covered during term 1 and term 2 of this academic year.
