Care and Support
Avenues for Life (Managing anxiety and concerns during exams)
They offer a common sense approach to managing the anxiety and concerns associated with the annual exam period both for the students and for their parents.
They give teenagers the courage and knowledge to cope with a stressful and anxious time and parents some tips for supporting their teenager throughout the examination season.
It's really important that students have access to the best pastoral care and support and that they know where to go to find that.
Our Key Stage 3 and 4 Pastoral Managers are available for support throughout the day and both fulfil the roles of Deputy Safeguarding Leads as well.

We also have an Early Help Provision, which is a way of supporting students who may have a barrier to being in school or in lessons. This is run by Mrs Poole who is our Early Help Co-ordinator. We have a menu of support that we can offer students to help them to achieve their best.
